What is the difference between Zinc (Photocast) and Brass/Bronze/Nickel-Silver? Zinc (Photocast): Zinc can be etched more deeply than Brass/Bronze/Nickel-Silver and is a cost-effective option for multiple-color projects or projects with large fields of color. Our double-etch finish mimics the antique look of bronze casting. Brass/Bronze/Nickle-Silver: These three metals are etched to a shallower depth than Zinc and offer a more subtle, classic appearance. The antique finish gives the metals a rich tone-on-tone look. |
